Artist in residence

I went away the other night and came home to these masterpieces. My husband has learned that talking on the phone, in the other room, while the boys are awake is not productive.....well, at least not for us!!

it's funny how small of a world this is. I was tyler's teacher from Change of Pace. I know scott and ang and the lapps....they go to my church. I was looking on kara stoltzfus's blog and just randomly decided to look on yours not knowing it was you. well just wanted to say your kids are soo cute...and you and your husband make one adorable couple as well. we miss tyler by the way....i loved watching him sing!:):)

I'll be interested in seeing what you do with the "masterpieces". Are they masterpieces? :)
Enjoyed the A.K. song.

Oh too funny...I mean, umm...wow, what a mess to clean up! :)

By the way: I LOVE that Allison Krauss song! There's just something about that song and her voice that can hit you deep sometimes.

When are we getting together again??? :)

I'd like to think I would have laughed and soaked in the 'this is part of this season' moment...but I'm afraid the truth is that, right or wrong (and it would be wrong), I would have been slightly annoyed at my dearest darling husband. :) Of course, my dearest darling husband would frame all the drawings as best he could. And why not? LOVE this posting! :)

yes, i will have to say i've let allowed my living room to be an exhibit of sorts. i've left them up for one week, but now the shows over friends! down they came w/ mr. clean magic eraser....and a certain little someone helped me all the while, (took 10 minutes longer with him sitting on my lap, my hand over his as he scrubbed, but it was worth it i am sure). "don't do it again" he kept saying as he worked so hard...bless his precious, artistic heart!!

Jake...Goo Gone is great! It leaves a citrus scent and is non- toxic. Janelle will think you have cleaned, or lit a candle or two! hee hee hee
