Nursery

Here's a little glimpse into Baby's nursery. I just completed all the "finishing touches."
I found these great lanterns at Target a few years ago and had them in storage. I'm really into this teal color lately. Our bedroom has this color accent as well. The large picture of a little hand holding hydrangeas I found at Goodwill a few years ago as well. It always comes out with Springtime!
This pencil drawing was done by my cousin Freiman. I have this verse written beside it: "Consider the lilies of the field and learn how they grow, they neither toil or spin. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, will He not much more surely clothe you?" Matthew 6:18

Which one

will it be?

"Babies have a wonderful way of teaching you how little sleep you really need."
ah, yes, soon I will know this all over again!

that baby is coming soon, because you are on a "blog spurt", not so much a nesting spurt, but you have blogged more in the last few days then you have in months combined. something's going on.

Janelle,

I can almost feel your excitement and anticipation of this new little life you are about to welcome! There is no JOY like it, that is for sure! Best wishes to you as you open your heart and home to this new little blessing that you will soon be smitten over!

P.S. I found your blog awhile back as I was keeping up with Carl Smucker's progress. I enjoy "stopping by" for updates on your family, creativity, etc.

May the Lord pour out his blessings to you today as you await a sweet, sweet, priceless gift from Him!

girl,I keep checking in, and you keep having posts...
I agree with Kara, instead of nesting you are blogging(perhaps b/c you nested early and you are taking Mary June's advice!)

yes, my "nesting" is done....as well it should be, I seriously have to slow myself down so I sit here during naptimes & throughout the day instead of working like an ox! plus, this is the COOLEST PLACE IN THE HOUSE!! :-)

What a beautiful nursery!! Looks like such a cozy and inviting spot, the baby will be sure to love it! :) I've been working on our nursery too, still a few things to complete in the next 2 weeks! Such a fun project though, all this anticipation and planning for a new little one!

I love that you haven't found out the gender of your baby. I found out with my first two, but if I got pregnant again, I think I'd hold off.

The nursery is beautiful and thank you so much for you kind comment on my blog.

Looks like I too have a new blog to add to the list!
